HI to the PSR9000 owners.
I bought this box Sunday afternoon and I'm working through the manual. I note on page 25 I am told to insert the Disk Styles disk supplied with the psr-9000 into the disk drive.
I got two disks with the board but not the above referenced disc, and I am not even sure what to do with the two I got that are: Factory Data Backup Disk No. 1 and No. 2. These must just be for backup in case something happens.
Does anyone have this style disc that I was supposed to get. I checked the dealer and they have two more keyboards and neither of the two has any discs. Bummer.
If you have the disc would you zip it up and mail it to me at bforrest@ix.netcom.com.
Thank you to anyone that can help me, or advise me where I can download this particular disc.

Bebop. There were no Style Disks with my 9000Pro, although it was a second user board I was assured that everything was included. Your Back-up Disk1 & 2 are as you guest do a complete factory re-set. Check that you have the latest OS installed. PSR9000 3.1 or 9000PRO 2.1. Press Function and SystemInfo to see the OS listed.

Hi BEBOP,
You can download Ver. 3.1 and the manual`s at the following link:> http://www.yamaha.com/ycaservice/group019/fgrop019.htm
Be sure to "download" the new Manual as it has important info also make sure you get the right "sequence" of disk`s. You`ll need (i think) 5 floppies to do the up-grade. Just follow the instructions and you`ll be OK , Remember if you do get an "error" you can always reinstall the old ver. and try again. Best of luck , if I can help further feel free to contact me

Thank you guys you are much appreciated.
Thank you Denny for the mail.
I begin to feel like a 70 year old virgin on a first date.
I been in electronic keyboards since 1970 and computers since 1980's but they keep getting deeper and deeper and I sure do appreciate those of you that are willing to share your learning curve with a Yamahopper Newbie. This saves me a lot of time Time isn't money to me but is priceless at my age of 70.
Thanks guys, and best to you all.

Congratulations Bebop. I'm certain you're going to have a terrific love affair with your new PSR9000. Just take it 'slow and easy', and 'make it last'. Enjoy.

Bebop!
If you are not sure you got everything ...call yamaha and they will ship it to you free if you are missing something ! When I bought the prs9000 floor model (1699) I called Yamaha and they sent me Manual, Music Stand and Disks ... I explained I bought the floor model and they had no problem air- delievering the stuff to me! And they registrated me over the phone!
I don't even think I used the disks because I downloaded the new os and prs9000 disks from yamaha and yahoo psr forums! (Along with the prs2000 and cvp209 sytles!.... And also the Platiumum Registrations and Vinces Multipads!)
If you never bought a Yamaha Prs keyboard you will be surprised to see how much STUFF is available on the NET for it! That's one of the Major REASONS I bought it!
