You guys are great! I'll check out the website on chords provided in this thread. I can actually play most chords including inversions. All these took years of practice and plays to be able to see it on the keyboard before the fingers actually plays it.

However, I am interested to know if there is any easier way to learn chords or if there is a formula to which you guys are using. My objective is to teach the best technique to beginners to learn chords.

I admit to being a sort of piano "strummer". I'd like to think that I'm always aware of voicings and inversions, but the simple truth is ..... I probably have "pet chords" that I use the crap out of with no brain input whatsoever.
When I'm conscious ...I try to mix up the voicings often to add flavor to the mix.

Nope - don't go there UD. I saw about three episodes, hated it and haven't watched it since. I just happened to catch the "paint gun war with the garage band" episode that the quote came from. We can still be friends, even if your sense of humor is low brow.

Put me in that low-brow group. I love it!
It has surpassed even the early Simpsons' shows.
My favorite remains "Frazier". Now that's funny.
