I had the opertunity to hear and play the Yamaha PSR550 this weekend at our Grand Rapids Yamaha dealer.

I played the swing and BB styles on this board and they were very acceptable. The PSR550 is a nice little keyboard. It has lots of sounds and features for 500 dollars or so. This could be a very acceptable backup keyboard for the professional.

I got the survival pack as well. I got the whole packaqe for $484.00 That's the keyboard, free keyboard stand, survival pack and free shipping. Last time I checked Dan0 posted a reply saying that he'd match the price I got mine for if anyone wanted one. You could also check with George Kaye. His price is good too.

Unless you have a good local dealer, get one from either George or DanO. They'll be there to help you after the sale. It will be worth many times more than the few dollars you might save elsewhere.
There is not much profit in the low-end arrangers. Let 'em make a few bucks!

the survival kit includes the PA-6 Adapter ($30.00), sustain Pedal ($20.00) headphones ($10.00) and a Yamaha extended 2 year parts and labor warranty ($49.95) all at no extra cost to you. Dealers can give this to you or charge you, I give it to you. I have the 550's in stock but I'm in California and you have to pay the freight.
