I emailed Bebop yesterday. He had been on an extended three week trip and is going out for another road trip (one week, I think). He told me he was pretty much disgusted with what's been going on here recently, as am I.

This fellow has "been there". I sincerely hope he returns. He is a gentlemen and a valuable, experienced pro with the chops and credentials to strive for.

He chooses to just ignore the recent silliness. What a shame if more valuable contributors don't complain but just move on.

How sad!

With respect, Bebop,

Russ

thanks Russ,
I have been back a few days and with great hope, excitement and espectation I tuned into the SJ forum but................
So I am just coasting for now.
I am sure there are better days ahead.
I can appreciate Nigel all the more because I got the Technics Forum started here and moderated it a few years. It finally got the best of me and I turned it back to Nigel. There are always one or two who will cause you ulcers and dispair.
Nigel is a saint and has the patience of one.
I hope everyone appreciates him as much as I do.
Best to all,
I will be lurking,
Bebop

Nigel is a saint and has the patience of one. – And Bebop has the wisdom.

I have no doubt that both men are more than capable in handling events that come their way. There is not one of us that on occasion needs to go to a safe place.

Please my statement is not to offend – but the forum is on the way to a nice place, any more negative discussions will not help. It’s moving beautifully, there has been some heart warming posts in the past weeks that tells me there are some great people on this forum– let’s bath in that.
As for Bebop, that is one strong man, he can handle what comes his way.

Acceptance and love – Acceptance and love – We are all messed up in one way or another, so -- Acceptance and love – And move on.
