Hello everyone.
It Has been a long time since I have appeared on the forums. I apologise for the long absence.
I had been out of music for a while.

Well, I'm back and hope you all have been well.

Quite a while ago there was a post about which programs were best (easiest) for inserting lyrics into midi files.
I had it one at the time that I liked and now do not remember what it was called and need to d'load it again

I would appreciate any information regarding the different programs available (free or reasonably affordable)

Thank you

Fran,
I thought it was gn midi that I had before, even remember paying the $30 to register, But I looked at it lately and it appears much different.
Do I maybe just have an old version?

I'm confused as to why it doesn't appear to be the same program. The one I had you just had to tap space bar or enter or some other key in time to sync the lyrics where wanted.

And before that you just copied an entire text file into a window and ....well....
Is this the same program?

The absolute best and easiest program for insertig lyrics is Serenade, which is available from www.1manband.nl/serenade . The cost when I purchased mine was a whopping $10, and it's easily downloaded so you can use it right away. You can also download a demo version from the same site.

Good Luck,

Gary

Try serenade
by Joe Mass I have used it and it works like you said push the Ctrl key.

Great minds think alike ! Gary and I must have posted at about the same time, but he is correct as always.

Ahhhh,
Thank you guys,
I will try serenade right away.
It sounds like the one I maybe used before.
Thanks a bunch.
It is really good to be back by the way.
Since last here, I've gotten a nice laptop, the logitech z5500, and the 2100 is rockin' again...
I never should have given up before. I just miss music way too much to stay away from it.

Thanks again, and all the best to you!

OldNewb,
Sorry about the Packers. Hope Brett doesn't get hurt! He needs some serious help.
Glad you are back.
