I am happy to report that I have finally talked Fran out of selling his beloved G70 ....After making him realize that with a little time and effort, reading the manual, asking questions, that he has one of the best TOTL Arranger Keyboards in the business...he has come to his senses and is now Keeping it & promises to master the unit with diligence & perseverance!!

Good Boy Fran!!

The Definition of Email Spam
Email spam is Unsolicited Bulk Email (UBE).

Unsolicited means that you lack affirmative consent from the recipient. If you found an address on a web page, on a mailing list, or on Usenet, you don't have consent. If you got an address in gift, sale or trade, you don't have consent. If someone gave you an address for a particular purpose (for example, a commercial transaction, information about your products, or after-sales support) you only have consent to use it for that particular purpose. Use for any other purpose requires a new consent.

Bulk means that you sent a substantively similar message to more than 200 addresses a day. A message that differs from recipient to recipient only by details (e.g. the recipient's name, account number, blocks of random words, characters, numbers, or non-rendered text) is the same message. A message that uses different wording to express the same idea is the same message. If you send the same message to 200 different people day after day, it's spam.

I am as frustrated as most people with some of the bonehead OS decisions made when starting their new G-series. A lot of the baby was thrown out with the bathwater.

But as dumb as some of the decisions have been, I keep closing my eyes while I play and smiling at the SOUND... I just can't get that sound any way other than the G70. The combination of V-Drums, VK Organ and that GrandX piano patch is hard to find in any other product. And for every dumb thing they did with the OS, they did two or three clever things that the G1000 didn't do....

They can have my G70 when they pry it from my cold dead hands.... Or Roland come out with a successor with a Chord Sequencer..!
-------------------------------------------------
But if anyone wants to sell their G70 cheap, give me a call... I could use one at the house!

I just saw this; how did I miss it? I'm SO sorry, but I just sold both a VR760 and a DC5 and bought a G70.

You weren't trying to hook anyone, were you. lol. Happ b'day, Fran. )
