It's great to hear someone is having success with an arranger and Cubase. The main trouble I have is when trying to record styles. Cubase always seems to cause them to playback funny, replacing some sounds with drums, for instance. For recording styles, XGworks was soooo easy because the styles were already there within the sequencer.

I'm excited to see what Yamaha do with Cubase now that they own it. I didn't even know there was a new version out! It looks like it's going to cost me about £130 to upgrade from SX-3. I may have to wait a while! The Halion One virtual synth looks interesting, if it really contains sounds from the Motif line it would be an incredible addition.

I keep everything. Well, so happens I have a purchased copy of XGWorks version 3.0 (CDROM disk). I don't think I ever installed it.

If Yamaha has dropped it, does not support it, and no one can buy it -- I see no copyright issue here? I would be willing to copy (if it will) my original and send one to those interested -- if you'll cover the repro disk and the shipping (your choice of mode).

If I off base about the licensing issue someone please chime in here. I'll take a crack at making a good copy tomorrow.
