Just got my G70 today I noticed that the top of the display on the LCD color screen seems to be cut off. Other than the contrast control there does not seem to be a way to adjust.

Is there?

In the left corner of the screen seems there is a small orange shaped triangle. Some of the displays depending on what screen your view are more cut off than others. When at the main screen the top of the tempo numbers and measure count are partially cut off. Anyone experience this ?

I'm not at my store right now to give you the directions, but there is a way to calibrate the touch screen if I'm not mistaken and this might correct the problem. I've never seen anything like you are discribing on any G70 screen. Check in the owners manual for calibrating the touch screen.

George I did a search in the manual and could not find any topic related to adjusting screen resolution.

Stephen, what version OS is running on your G70..Try re-installing the OS version..especially if it is version 1.0 ..even 2.0..Version3 is where you want to be eventually..Maybe the new install will correct the screen..Worth a try , anyway..

I own a G70 since its launching (yes, since version 1 up to version 3, and never had complains regarding this amazing board) and never noticed such a problem in my screen. I would say that if you don't solve this after trying the previous recommendations, your board has a malfunction and Roland should repair it.

And if it already at OS3, I wouldn't downgrade and upgrade again... Just take it back to the dealer and get another one. I had a screen problem and misaligned keys on my first G70. Dealer replaced it on the spot.

So it's not new. I would still wait and see whether Søren can get a back-channel answer before you start downgrading. To be honest, this feels more like a physical problem than an OS one, especially as we have never seen this problem at roland-arranger although there have been other, different issues occasionally...

I think you nailed it I did an OS3 update even though it had OS3 on it. Screen is still not aligned. I'll wait to see what Soren's sources have to say.
