O K. Hear is a short piece of music I did on the Genesys.

It has a hip-hop type feel to it but it is an attempt at Wayne Shorter’s “Footprints”.

It has a lot of bass but that was done by design.


This was done using the Genesys sequencer. I then ran the outs of the Genesys in to the ins of my sound card. I recorded in to Sound Forge and normalized it and saved it as an MP3 file.

If my computer behaves, I will try and see if I can post some things that you can gig with.

I think the beat and overall "feel" is cool in this one...good job! The only part that was off to me was the weird voice sound at the end and near the end. It would be cool if you were to replace that with a better sound because I thought the pause between the main parts was cool...however, the part that you put in that pause needs to be a different sound. And one last thing - a little more reverb on it would make it sound even better.

Other than that, good work man and thanks for sharing!
