Mario, I ordered a Discover 5 a week ago, but put it on hold[cold feet]. I think I am going to make the deal, it is a new toy to play with...Fran

Great Fran, maybe I won't have "shell out" $3200 for the Tyros. I would hate to buy the Discover "sight unseen". I think is worth a trip for Donny and I to come and pay you a visit ocnce you get yours. When will you be getting it?

Frank. The G1000 isn't going anywhere[I'm no fool]..It's still better than the rest..If I get the Discover5 , it's because I am curious and one of the guys have to try it..Fran

Andrea:
Shipping and duty tax, both would amount to aprox. $250.00 which will put the bear Kb at just about the same price with George Kayes price, only George's has a US warrantee and the right voltage of 110v, Synthplanet does not offer either in the US.
Also, by the time you add shipping and the "goodies" like the speakers, a HD etc. you then will arrive at my original price of over $3200.00 "macaroons".
This is why the PSR9000 is starting to look awfully attractive at just over$2100 bucks
Regards,
Mario

So what IS Roland's Discover 5? is it something in between Fantom and VA-76? I wonder who made it, Italian Roland or Japan?
