It's very difficult to find a good, high-quality, soft case that not only provides a smooth texture inside, but additionally, provides some degree of crush protection as well. You can accomplish this yourself by purchasing an oversized, well constructed soft case, then lining the bag with a 1-inch thick layer of Ethefoam, which is a closed-cell form that is very lightweight, but quite rigid as well. The Ethefoam can be easily cut to shape with an electric knife and glued together using special adhasives that are available from the foam supplier. After constructing the inner shell, the last step is to attach a thin layer of soft form rubber to the Ethefoam sheet inside of the lid. This provides a soft cushion for the keyboard's delicate switches, LCD display, keys, etc.. Good Luck, Gary ------------------ Travlin' Easy

Russ, I must have missed something on their website--no mention of keyboard cases, no mention of rigid, lightweight lining--mainly guitar cases that were lined with soft foam. If you have a link to their keyboard cases, I would sure like to have it--my 12 year old case is beginning to show signs of wear. Gary ------------------ Travlin' Easy

thanks, gary, you advice is pretty much what i had in mind too. i think i will try to make this case by myself, because i doubt i can find a proper one for e60, on the other hand, a hardcase is way to expensive in here (i can build probably about 2-3 with the same cost). and of course, i think i will enjoy doing that. but first, i need to wait a little bit, until the keyboard arrives. and thanks dnj for the link [This message has been edited by adimatis (edited 11-06-2006).]
