DanO, when I was a lad, Tab Hunter had a hit on Red Sails. But it is much older than that. It was before your time for sure!

Red Sails was in the very first fake book I ever owned, about 47 years ago, and I'm pretty sure it was old then!!!
47 YEARS AGO?!?!?!? .. ... (how come I don't play better than I do???) ...
It might be on one of those 'fake book' site mentioned in another thread....

Red Sails In The Sunset is in Hal Leonard -'This is the ultimate fake book with over 1200 songs' (third edition). Its also in another Hal Leonard book called 'The Ultimate Jazz Fakebook' Says in the index that Nat King Cole did this song. I'm sure you can find a MP3 of it.

Nice Lyrics Scott-I'm going to keep a copy!
