i am totally with you guys...i reckon being able to quickly record a chord sequence would be a tremendous advantage, and not just a "gimmick"...

But the whole point is........... you can do it 'on the fly'.

This isn't something you use (although you CAN) in advance of the performance - it's something you use as you play, either for whole verse/chorus structures, or little improvised 'vamp' sections, whatever you want. Anytime you feel like you'd like to use BOTH hands to make your performance better.

For me........... it's a no-brainer
