This recording, assuming it is done on an arranger keyboard, is undoubtedly the best recording I have ever heard as far as it sounding like actual live instruments for the most part. I am not going to guess right now which keyboard this might be, but the sound makes it such that I would like to have this keyboard. Since the rock band sounded so very real I would also like to comment on the parts that while they sounded pretty good, I could tell that it was a keyboard. That would include the vocal harmonizer. Although it sounded pretty good for what it is, to me vocal harmonizers sound fake, all of them, and they always will sound fake. The brass band, although good for a keyboard did not sound as real as the rock band, which really sounds authentic. Good recording and mixing technique. I'll be interested to see which instrument this is Best Scott Langholff http://ScottLMusic.com

Hi Scott many thanks for the thumbs up. Actually, this morning, I wrote to R--- and forecast that Scott would be one of the first to make a comment , knowing your great supporting qualities. The nearest translation into english of "olde keerl" would be "old guy". I had great fun doing it. cheers Eddie Here are the actual english lyrics:- He wanders by the fields he knew So well from times before and through The paths of yesteryear where now Alone he walks with furrowed brow And he's thinking The land he roamed is bare and wild The hedges rare and long defiled His friends were gone so long ago The darkness looms, he has to go And he's thinking And then he thinks back to his youth On bridges sat the girls so smooth And Gerrit with his strange old hat Was scorned and not allowed to chat He knows them all, each one he named Some died and some still window-framed In houses down there in the street Where newer faces fail to greet It's time to go yet he feels dread And suddenly his feet are lead Who lurks there in the twilight zone? His long lost girl? No he's alone and he's thinking He knew that this could not be so She died alas long years ago Her face he saw then she was gone and now he walks here quite alone and he's thinking And then he thinks back to his youth On bridges sat the girls so smooth And Gerrit with his strange old hat Was scorned and not allowed to chat He knows them all, each one he named Some died and some still window-framed In houses down there in the street Where newer faces fail to greet They saw him rarely in the crowd His walk was slow, his gait was bowed They asked "How are you?", his reply Was always there "My time is nigh" And he's thinking We knew that something was amiss I don't know how to tell you this He tried and tried to calm his fear But no.......He is no longer here....... ------------------ Eddie from Rotherham Skype:eddiefromrotherham www.yamahakeyboards.info
