Hi gang, just a quick hello from the dessert somewhere near IRAQ. We deployed with some A-10's in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, or whatever else they call it once the shooting begins. This is the first chance I have had to check out the zone since deploying, and I'm sure the last for awhile. I hope you are all doing well and trust your families and friends are happy and healthy. I do miss the regular zone chatter and updates. best wishes to all of you!! I wish you continued success in your musical endeavors. God Bless Brian (B2)

Brian... I have been thinking about you and wondering if you got the call to go that you were expecting. Your post answers that question.

Your old PSR 2000 is doing a great job for me and I rarely turn it on that I don't think of you and picture you in that cockpit. God Speed my friend...and best to Julie. We all look forward to getting this thing resolved.

Hi Brian,
good luck to you, and check six whether you are aviator or ground personell. By the way, one of the A-10 pilots that took out 23 tanks in '91 was a SP of mine at Sheppard AFB in '87. He might be in the airlines now though, no names of course. Take care!

Brian. I wish you well and hope for a speedy and safe return to you and all those with you. I hold the utmost respect for the men and women who have to go out and do the job at hand, whether I agree with it or not. I'm not speaking in protest here. I do have my opinions about this action but that isn't something I want to get into here. Mainly It's just that I am never thrilled when our sons, daughters, and contemporaries have to go to war period, whatever the situation or cause may be. I just want all our guys and gals to come home safe. I will never forget the generous offer you made to lend me your 2000 for a live show when mine was on the blink. My stepson is in the Air Force and is currently stationed in Japan, though his role may change very shortly. I pray for his safety as well. Be well and come home safe.
