Today, Manuel Dorantes arrived at my store in California, after driving for 4 days and 3500 miles from Queretaro, Mexico, to buy a Ketron SD1. I think this has to be a record for the longest drive to find a Solton Dealer anywhere! We spent a few hours talking about Mexico, the USA and mostly we talked about our love of arranger keyboards. Manuel taught me a few things, and I think I gave him some tips he hadn't discovered yet on his X1 and of course on the new SD1. He left my store with a new SD1 and the new SD1 Users guide which came in today from AJ. And the best part is I made a great new friend through this internet discussion group. It's always such a pleasure to meet the members in person. Manuel is spending one extra night here in California before making the long journey home to Mexico on Friday. Have a safe trip!

Hello George,
I tried to get him to drive another 3000 miles to Baltimore . He told me to forget it if I did not have AJ's manual . Customers are so demanding ! Dan O

I did have a gentleman swim from a country in Europe to Baltimore for an X1. It was difficult attaching enough life preservers to float the X1 on his back . He ended up buying a Kayak . To this day I am not sure if he was able to put the keyboard back together . ?????? Dan o
