As a last resort I'll do a system restore to Nov 1st & see what happens?

Donny some modems, when switched to another computer will adapt to that computer...Then when switched back to the previous computer, it will not work..The fix for this is as Al mentioned, but you should keep the modem disconnected and off[no power] for thirty minutes...then try it again..

life was sooooo much easier without computers [sigh]
