The Intro and Endings Don't sound bad on these arrangers; at least.

I'm much too busy making a living with my arranger keyboard to get involved in this string.

String? Its more like a fraid knot. While trying to make sense of it, I had calls for two new jobs. Will anyone convince me you can't be a professional musician or entertainer with an arranger? 'Fraid not.

The mega star and legend that is David Bowie was on TV recently promoting a song from his new album and he performed on stage, with his band playing a STYLOPHONE.

Don't know if you folks in the US know what they are but they are like a little toy keyboard with a distinctive (grating) sound, only plays one note at a time and promoted heavily in the seventies as a novelty. You play it by rubbing the stylus up and down the metal keyboard. VERY BASIC.

My point is that to most 'Real' (whatever that means) musicians the tools do not matter a hoot. You use what you can in whatever way you need to to get the music out of your head and into other folk's ears.

Lonnie Donnegan pioneered Skiffle by making music with an old washboard and some thimbles. Have any of you ever seen a photo of that old beat up guitar Elvis cut his first tracks with at Sun?

The tools don't matter IT'S ALL ABOUT THE MUSIC!!

See you got me shouting now!
Best wishes
Tony

Come on, you got to know this is a scam. You aren't going to get any of his "music files" in email.

It's a lame ploy to see if maybe one gullible person out of 1000 will send a little money.

Probably isn't Russian. Probably isn't 15. Probably doesn't need an Arranger. Probably doesn't play music.

I see these scams all the time for PayPal and eBay and am just amazed at people who respond.

My initial response was a joke to show the absurdity of his post, but it turned into a big long thread about real musicians, etc.

Blah blah blah.

Forget about those "real" musicians and arranger workstations, I DON`T CARE ANYMORE, who likes Arranger keyboards should keep on liking them, who likes MusicWorkstations should keep on liking those MusicWorkstations.

Well IMO some people here gotta get thicker skins, I've been reading this and some other posts for awhile.

So some dude/total stranger says "hey arranger's are really not pro grade stuff or this so and so PRO KB also has amature features"

so basically what meaning do most of the replies say? (flavored with sarcasm so dont get pissed off)well for me at least "OH YES I AM A PRO AND DONT YOU FORGET IT" and "OH NO MY KB IS FOR PRO'S ONLY" or mainly" DON'T EVER CALL OR ASSOSIATE ME WITH AN AMATURE"

IE its like some are trying to reassure everyone.

Now I know all guys, me included have pride and an ego just slightly larger than the sun But com'on, we all know who we are and how talented or proficient we are at whatever we do right?

If it isnt a personal or illegal remark, who cares? they dont know you or you them, ingore it and move on, its the internet for pete's sake.

But then again, mabey your just bored and pissed off, then by all mean give em heck

Peace

Nope .... here's we're more like family than anywhere else. We won't sit around and let anyone trash our livelihoods! For pete's sake ......... just because we use the internet to communicate, that doesn't mean we have to loose our identities. I'm prowd to say that some of my dearest friends have been introduced to me because of THIS VERY SITE. Personal is what we're all about. We get testy sometimes, and we all need to be put in our place once in a while, but the general M.O. around here is H*E*L*P one another. Begging is beneath the dignity of this fine batch of people, and that's why you see the outlash of sarcasm.
It's a healthy outlet, don't you think?
