1) Not to buy any new gear.
2) Learn to use the gear I already have.
3) Playing a lot more music.

Kind regards,
Tommy

I like that your 3 resolutions there's a lot to be said for that especially since I ordered a T2 about an hour ago.

Mine

1. Get a high end arranger
2. Learn to sing
3. Record some of my songs and contribute them to the SZ
4. Learn how to create styles

Steve,

Great. Congratulations with your Tyros 2. It's a fantastic keyboard. I think the Super Articulation Technology is the best kept secret in the musical instrument industry right now. They just sound fabulous and are so easy to play.

I have actually put a lot of tought into my resolutions. I have spent the last 22 years buying and then selling again all sorts of musical gear starting with a Yamaha PS-6100 (probably the first arranger keyboard that was no longer a toy). I have used a lot of time trying out all sorts of new music technology - but to little time actually playing the instruments.

Now I have bought a setup that I hope will last for several years (Korg Pa800, GEM RP-X, Yamaha MFC10) and it is my intention now to concentrate 100% on making music with this setup. Time will tell

Kind regards,
Tommy

Tommy, I remember having the 6100. It was pretty good for it's time. I still midied it to a drum machine and used a DX7 and piano module with it though.
I think it is the one that the top folds down and makes a neat cover isn't it?
