Morse Robb of Belleville, Ontario, patented the world's first electric organ in 1928.

Myth - The B3 is more powerful than the C3.
This is not true. The B3 and the C3 are the same organ. The ONLY difference is the cabinet.

Today is Roy Rogers posthumous birthday.
Roy Rogers -- star of TV's Roy Rogers Show (1911-1998). He would have been 92 today if he were still alive on this earth.

Here is some trivia on Roy Rogers:

Birth Name: Leonard Slye

Rogers was called the "King of the Cowboys" during his long career as a folksy singing hero of movies and TV. He was an original member of the cowboy singing group The Sons of the Pioneers, and in 1937 he signed on with Republic Pictures, replacing their departing star Gene Autry. He starred in more than 80 westerns with titles like The Arizona Kid (1939) and In Old Cheyenne (1941). He often co-starred with cowgirl Dale Evans, whom he married in 1947. Rogers's famous horse was Trigger, a Palomino stallion with flowing white mane who became a favorite with Rogers's fans. In the 1950s Rogers moved into TV with the The Roy Rogers Show. His theme song with Dale Evans was the gentle and cheery "Happy Trails to You."

He had such a good down home folksy singing voice that captured and enthralled his audience from the moment he started to sing a song. He was a very easy going and laid back kind of guy. He was a very likable person too and his integrity and forthright character overshadowed all that he did. He is truely missed especially in the eyes of his devoted Country Music fans.

Best regards,
Mike

Speaking of elbows... most well endowed women cannot touch their elbows behind their back....but it is fun watching them try.

SVPworld originated from SVP, Simon Video Productions but the domain svp.com wasn't available so svpworld was chosen and has stuck since!

Another useless piece of trivia!

The term "adagio" has nothing to do with pasta.

Remember now, Dan0's original header says "Music Trivia". Let's not veer off that path shall we?

Best regards,
Mike
