Big Red......

Sereno e
Rimanere a letto ancora un po'
E sentirti giu in cucina che
Gia prepari il mio caffe
E far finta di dormire
Per tirarti contro me.

Sereno e
Ricordare il primo giorno che
Sei salita sulla moto mia
Noi due soli senza compagnia
E la volta che hai guidato tu
Dentro al fosso a testa in giu . . .

Sereno e
Scivolare dentro il mare e poi
Senza il peso dei pensieri miei
Giu nel buio la conferma che
Lassu in alto sempre tu ci sei
Che alla luce aspetti me.

Sereno e
Dare un calcio ai grattacapi e poi
Con un bacio fare pace noi
E sentirmi come tu mi vuoi
Raccontarti un sacco di bugie
Per poi ridere di te!

Hi, sorry about the new handle, but this is actually Big Red - some sort of faux pas going on when I tried to add some info to my profile. (If it gets sorted out, I'll be back to my usual username.)

Holy Cappuccino, dnj! That was fast. Unfortunately, Sereno E is not the song I was looking for. But thanks for the effort.

I've 'googled' all over for it, and the various Drupi sites have lyrics for a number of his other hits, but not for 'Due'.

Any ideas, Dreamer?

Hey, Dreamer. I see you are an endocrinologist. My daughter is a first-year resident and is in an endocrinology rotation at the moment. Your commiserations are accepted.

Dnj..... Do you have a web address for that? ..or can you e-mail it to me as well ...
My mom, 90 yrs young this past July and still singing up a storm, was the big musical influence in my life ... She took me to some Italian music shows in NYC when I was a kid, but unfortunately, never taught me the language ... At one of the shows was this BEAUTIFUL Italian vocalist who had won an award at San Remo ... I got her 8 x 10 with an autograph and fell in LOVE ... wish I could remember her name ....

Big Red,
I am looking, but still cannot find the lyrics from "Due" by Drupi.
Why should I commiserate your daughter? She is indeed a very lucky girl (first because has a father like you, second because is studying endocrinology!)

Tony,
which year was that and how did the italian singer look? Maybe I can help you in finding the name of your lost love...

(...on a second thought...)
Tony, if you were a kid, it's likely that her name was "Nilla Pizzi".

(from the former Big Red)

Hi Dreamer,
My commiseration comment was just a light, humorous thing (British-style humour, I guess). Yes indeed, I am a very proud dad, she's a great girl.
Many thanks for your efforts in tracking down this obscure song. dnj of this forum is also putting in some serious time on this. You guys are terrific!

dnj, you got mail.
