I have the Mackie C300 non-powered speakers, similar to the SRM450. If the 350's are any way as similar as the others, then I would say you couldn't go wrong with the Mackies. I would suggest a sub-woofer if you need to fill a space for more than 100. I have an EV Sb121 powered sub that really adds punch to the mix.

The Mackie SRM 350 probably will not be using RCF components since the sold that division. They are currently re-designing the SRM 350 circuit board which will probably use a B&C tweeters (FBT & Yorkville also use Italian B&C components) and American Emminence woofers. Mackie has not produced any SRMs lately as they are trying to get the assembly started in China. Nobody knows how these new designs will sound yet.

By the way, the FBTs have Low, Mid and High on the back also. I have received a lot of positive reviews of the FBT sound.
