Dear Forum members,
first, I'm aware of the Yahoo! PSR styles group, however if I try to find good blues, blues-swing, blues-rock styles I get lost in the styles-jungle. I spend more time downloading and getting disappointed, than working on my music. I'm also looking for modern pop styles.
Can any of you help me?
Enjoying the group very much, although time prevents me from participating as much as I would like.
Enjoying the 9000.

Regards,
Roy-Andrè

Hi Roy-Andre.
Good to see another Norwegian at forum once in a while
Did you visit the pages of Jørgen Sørensen?
There you'll find a lot of suff related to the Yamaha and others.

The sort of blues styles you're hunting for is those I miss most among the technics stuff too.

Did you download the psr2000 and cvp209 styles yet? ... they are pretty good.

Also, there is a program that takes any midi song and creates styles out of it. It's called Midi2Style. I downloaded it off the net, and it's free!

P.S.
I just clicked on Gunnar Jonny's link and it's there in Top Right of that PAGE!!!!
WOW! Good timing! Just as I posted this message I saw his Post... clicked on his link and BAM saw the Midi2Style right there!

It must be Good program to be placed right next to the name of the site!!!!

Hi rgtaa

midi2style is a good program. I know cause I have programmed it.

And I run The Unofficial YAMAHA PSR Resource Site at http://home7.inet.tele.dk/js/musik/740pages

This explains the placing of the midi2style link!

Enjoy
Jørgen

I have a blues midi directory with 78 midi songs in it that are pretty good stuff, about 3 1/2 mgs total weight These might be great midi for the conversion to Styles software referenced in this thread. I will have to get that program and try it out for the new 9000 I just bought last week.
Let me know if you want these midi files and I can zip them up and email them. It would prolly take 2 or 3 zip files to make them floppy sized.
Last time I made this offer for the Italian and the Spanish midi files I got overwhelmed. I am going to Alaska on the love boat round trip from San Francisco on the 27th, for 2 weeks, so I won't be able to make a lot of mailings on these before I go. I will wait until everyone has made their request and do it all in one mailing, so send me your request and email address to email to. Email me at
bforest@ix.netcom.com with your request
Best to all from
