Don...
By plugging into inputs 3 & 4 you are getting the benefit of the flattest of flat, unprocessed signals. The Bose guys say those two chanels are used mostly for CD, MP3 players where the media has already been processed.

If you have your new Ty2 tweaked just the way you want it, I would agree that inputs 3&4 are probably going to satisfy your ears.

What about your mic? Are you running it through the KB or into one of the other inputs on the Bose?

Donny:

I agree on the sound degradation using only 1 Mackie. I purchased one to use with my 3000, I was dissappointed and took it back to GC. Yes, it had plenty of power, but running the Logitechs sounded better. I did as Fran had suggested run my Roland KC150 in stereo with the 450. It did come more alive than just being run by itself. I now have on order a Barbetta 31c, but I'm getting the feeling just running one may not give me what I really wantto hear.

I run the mic into the Tyros and all the processing is done from there.
In fact yesterday I hooked up a small battery-powered 4-channel mixer and ran two mics into it for Dean and me and a nursing home show. Worked like a dream.

I have a ton of them on my Jukebox 3. The sound is still out on my new computer. I'm waiting for a new motherboard to come in. I'll transfer some then and try to find time to post.
I've been really busy with several back-to-back doubles.
Maybe tomorrow.
