"Now we know what the RX in RX Technology stands for; - (Real eXperience). I thought it might of been "Radical eXtreme" sound technology or "Revolutionary eXtended" sound technology. 'Real eXperience' doesn't cut it if you ask me." That term doesn't really define any cohesive definition of what really makes up the RX technology.

Real eXperience?? What is that suppose to mean??? Oh well...

Also; you will almost need a crane to lift it. It weighs 3 1/2 lbs. MORE than the 76 Key Pa1XPRO does.

48 Pounds?....Yikes! ...But my other concerns would be how fast without a glitch, you would be juggling and accessing, searching, thru all the features like ...Live play, Mp3, Sequencer, while playing another, this is essential on stage during a performance. Nice power on the speakers.Price, Release date?

Wow 48 lbs! Geez oh man... That's pretty heavy for a portable arranger.... Hell that's more than the 9000 Pro. Wasn't the PSR-9000 48lbs? Did korg really have portability in mind with this one? Portability to me is something like the PSR-2000/2100. Both excellent keyboards and easy on the back. Will you even be able to get a case with wheels for the new Korg?

Thanks Donny. I forgot to mention the price and availability. Well, it's suppose to MAP for $3,499.95. That's the lowest Dealers can go! It 'retails' for $4,300 and many independent dealers (excluding George and DanO of course ) will try and sell it for much more than the $3,499.95.

Availability is suppose to be April 1ST of 'this' year!!! My opinion? "I DON'T THINK SO!" Except maybe in Denmark, etc., like they did with the Pa1XPRO.

Ouch...my back hurts just reading the weight, I still have battle wounds from the 9k I'll pass at $3499.00.......when Kb's are becoming throw away items like most consumer electronic items in this day and age.....the minute you buy something the next great thing comes out 6 months later and leaves you holding the bag...

One of the many feature of the PA1x is the sliders similar to the old Korg i-series. I don't see that in this new keyboard.

That is not true. This is the minimun advertised price, they can and almost ALL the dealers will sell it for less than that. I bought by PA1X Pro for $550 less than MAP without any problem. If the MAP is $3499, expect to pay around $2900 for it.

There are 8 sliders just underneath the display. My impression is that they work the same way they did on the I30.
