I just received a phone call from Yamaha along with a new June 1, 2007 Arranger Workstation Dealer Pricelist.
First,
The first shipment of PSR-S700's are arriving into Yamaha as I write this but will first have to go through Quality Control before being allocated.
The first shipment of PSR-S900's are still expected to arrive next month, sometime in July. The first shipments will not be large ones as usual. However, larger amounts will follow shortly after.
The PSR-S700Oriental will also arrive later in July.
Retail Price of PSR-S700 $1299 MAP is $999
Retail Price of PSR-S900 $1999 MAP is $1599
Retail Price of PSR-OR700 $1599 MAP is $1299

Hi Dennis
Don’t forget to check the voltage range of the NP 30, as Australia is totally different to the US (US is 110V 60Hz)

The S900 uses the PA300 power supply which handles 100 to 240 volts AC so "no worries" over use in Austrailia!

Of course if I'd read the question properly in the first place then I'd have realised the "PA300" answer is useless for NP30 users... that uses the PA-5D or PA-150 supply.

The PA-5D looks like a conventional (i.e. non-switched mode) brick so that will be fixed input voltage; the examples on eBay are all 110v so that wouldn't work in Oz without a stepdown transformer.

I can't find any details of the PA-150 power supply.

The power required is 12v and less that 2 amps so a generic adapter shouldn't be hard to find; the issue would be with warranty support in this circumstance as a "use of a non-standard power supply" can be used as a get out clause!
