I called Roland USA today and the rep. said that they are not planning to release any new arrangers this summer. The VA7/76 are still there top keyboards and they are still in production.

So much for that....
I guess I'll wait for the famous Korg PA1X

Anyone else have any new info?

Sigh!!!
Roland.. What is your problem? When it is your turn to hit, you stike out. Now you won't even step up to the plate. Running out of old material to recycle?
I am disapointed.

When we attended the 7 day Keyboard Festival in the UK back in April this year. The Roland demonstrator gave me the impression that a new arranger board would be available later this year although he declined to add further comments about it.

Maybe Roland went back to the drawing boards after seeing the Tyros.

I dont think we will be seeing a new arranger from Roland for a long long time. And if they do come out with a new one i think their next arranger will re-define an arranger...2005 perhaps? ...long time to wait starkeeper

A good friend of mine is doing some style design for the new Roland Arranger which I bet will be out at the Winter NAMM show in 2004. He knew it wouldn't be ready to this year, but next year I would expect it.

I really hope they don't call it any names. althougt I'm sure that Roland will probably call it "Fantom VA", I would rather have a number than a name like "Roland 69 " that would attract alot of customers .

Wow..its takes a long time to make a build a new arranger from scratch. I'm sure it will be the mother of all arrangers in Winter 2004 Thanks for the info George.
