Carrie Underwood? She's almost as "average" as that really chubby guy was. She sings out of tune too. Kelly C was good ... the rest are all very, very ......yawn....
you know how I feel about this stuff, but hey - if it makes YOU happy ... you GO boy. I will nevr, ever subscribe to "reality" anything in the media. They are mutually exclusive terms for me.

Now ... on to better things .......
How'm I gonna pay Russ for this broken down, oversized squeezebox he sold me ?!?!?

And, you know me, I think that while the production values of the CMA award show are excellent, I think the current crop of country entertainers, as a group, are unimanigative and pretty poor (sorry, Don...you know I'm an admirer of yours). (Folks, this is my opinion only...I don't expect anyone to agree with me).

My point is, it's reassuring to know that there are still talented folks in the business who are getting the recognition they deserve. All in all, I think that there is hope for continued talent to surface in the years to come.

As to the production values of the Sunday night show, I agree, it was pretty marginal.

Russ, I wasn't talking about the talent, I was talking about the production of the show.

Average is all you need or worse to be a super star judging by what was on that show or in most major acts in todays music scene,Movies & Broadway shows money is the common denominator vs talent today.....think about it next time you shell out the bucks for a night out to a bad movie, concert or play or whatever..thats real REALITY
