Since I've played big band stuff for 30+ years it is right up my alley. I love it. Tony does "Because of You" as a duet with k.d. Lang. Karen Carpenter has always been my favorite female vocalist but k.d. Lang is very close IMO. Now if only k.d. would sing "Merry Christmas Darling ......" Tom _________________________ Thanks, Tom

The only other modern singer that floors me is (was) Eva Cassidy. First time I heard her ("Over The Rainbow"), it brought tears to my eyes. What a shame she is dead. She appeared several times on the Steve Allen Show, and I met her when she visited Ray. Very mild lady...sadly, I believe she was hussled many times by agents, producers, men. A really sweet soul. And one of the classic singers of all time. Besides her voice quality, it was her ability to scat and interpret in her unique jazz style that made her one of my all-time favorites.
