I made a little Calculation correct me please if I am wrong, so the Korg PA1X with all the add on's will cost $4777, that is hard disk, MP3 player,Grand piano card, plus rest. I find this very expensive compare with what I pay for a New Genesys Pro in Europe $2450 and that is you have a Hard Disk + you can burn your CD's,MP3 +CD+WAV player, Sampler, flopy disk, LYRICS and Score display, Video Out, reverb and Harmoniser, very good sounds and styles.
In my opinion it is very expensive as we all want those extras, or call them extras on Korg but they come standard with Genesys.
Tony.

Tony. $2,450 for a Genesys Pro?? That's a great deal ziggy. Plus you get all the extras included?? Wow! I've said it before; if GEM had a larger presence in the market place they would sell many, many, more Keyboards than they do now. It's only logical that they would. I suppose market presence is not GEM's cup of tea because they seem to make NO effort (so far that I can tell) of getting their Keyboards into local dealers, ie., GC, Sam Ash, and online retailers, eg., music123.com, musiciansfriend.com, zzounds.com, etc. Too bad; not only for GEM but for Keyboardists in general because they're missing out on good quality GEM Keyboards because they just aren't available to the masses in large quantities. Best regards, Mike
