A small correction; The Genesys Pro has a 4 gig HD.

George, I wish you had looked me up and said hello. I would have liked to meet you in person.

George, anything on the Lionstracs Musicstation ? How did the Roland digital accordian sound? The G70, anything new, are the negative reviews correct?

John,
There was a slight mistake in shipping. It will arrive Monday. I'm looking forward to seeing it, but it will be Tuesday before I have time to play it.

Here's what i think so far about the G70.....
The styles seem very much like what I've had in the VA7 and VA76. The sounds sound like what I've had in both keyboards as well.
The Roland engineers told me that over 2/3's of the styles are brand new, but I though they sound like the same programmers as before made them. Roland also says that there is over 160MB of rom (or something like that) in the G70. The keyboard looks and feels great. The touchscreen is fantastic. I asked why roland chooses to not but as exciting types of styles as Ketron, Generalmusic and Yamaha Tyros/3000. I asked if they didn't listen to their competition and try to create these types of "in your face" type styles. There answer was "we can and will do these" but in my opinion, these are what we were waiting for. I asked why they use so much signal processing in their sounds which clearly, you in Europe, who have already seen and been purchasing this model over the past few months have been commenting on here and at other sites as well. To Rolands support, I can tell you that they really listened to my statements, my likes and my dislikes. I am sure these R&D people and designers have heard us and will respond.
As I stated last month after having this board at my store to go through for just an hour or so, those that love Roland sounds and styles as they've been should not be disappointed but if you expected an entirly new board, this isn't there yet! Give it a chance and try it for yourself. We all have different standards for what we like in our keyboards.
