I had a great Birthday party at my Dance club last night....my wife told me that someone had brought a cake for mary so in front of almost 200 people I started to play & sing "Happy Birthday" as my wife rolled out a huge cake obn the dance floor candles blazing.....BUT she never went over to Mary's table, but instead came right toward the stage and it turned out to be MY Own Birthday Cake & I was singing to myself!!! anyway everyone came over for hugs & kisses which made for a tremendous night for all.....btw I also recorded a quick new demo song for my website, a Steve Tyrell version of "I Cant Get Started" utilizing playing the 3k/custom tweaked Smf/ vocals....... www.donnypesce.com

Donny, do you know the file size for Can't Get Started? That file fired up right away for me (just got on DSL yesterday, yippee!) and I can't figure out how you did that... doesn't appear to be anything other than a normal link. Maybe file size is fairly small? (I'm comparing your song to others I've downloaded today... yours was faster than others. Maybe you also have a fast server. Probably just a small file size.)
Happy Birthday, welcome to the club, I turned 53 earlier this year. When I originally saw your e-mail address onemanband52@yahoo.com I figured you were born in '52 too.
Bill, Tony, Jill, Stephen.....thanx so much for the Kudos we all have our days & today is mine ....I'd love to go hit the Tropicana Casino Tonight in AC to Celebrate with the lovely Nancy, but alas I have a evening show to perform........;(

Donny, one more question. File size being only 900kb but that song is 2 minutes... do you know what mp3 conversion rate you used? No big deal... just curious... that file size is small... which is good.
Thanks everyone for the Congrats.... Tony.....I was just setting up for an outdoor gazebo garden gig when that pic was taken, I hadnt taken the KB out yet....and speakers. Just another day in summer paradise

Donny, looks like you're having more fun than a body deserves, but then, you deserve it!
Great job, as usual, on your new demo. First time I've been to your web site for awhile. I liked the layout and graphics of your previous site, but your new site looks great also. Congrats and thanks for sharing.
Thanx Boyz....Im having a wonderfull day so far...
Glenn....I was lucky enough to have my good UK friend and Synthzone member Tony W design my first website ......My current website is a simple format and was MY first try at designing my own using the "Dream Weaver program" with the help of my dear friend Gary Diamond....its is a work in progress and & little by little improvements will be made all around thats the fun of it.....hope to see your website & demo songs going up as well soon too..... stay well.

Happy Birthday Dude, 53 is a great age. '52 was a great year. I have a good looking daughter that same age. She was married to a well known musician for a few years and prolly wouldn't be interested in another one But..............I could send her your pic in case you are single and interested Bebop

Hey Donny
Happy Birthday fellow baby boomer! I turned 53 May 5th. Yer lookin' good in the pic.
Trumpet was my main instrument, of course I Can't Get Started was Bunny Berigan's theme song. Bunny was to me and Maynard Ferguson what Maynard called a super hero. What an outstanding spontaneous playing he did on that tune. It earned him being in the Top 10 of all recorded tunes. Where did you ever find that midi arrangement????? Almost makes me want to take my trumpet along on gigs again!
BTW, very nice vocal, you'e really got nice tone, inflection and feel.
Hey Big Guy.....happy 53rd ....orry I'm late about it...been busy.....I guess that I'll have to keep looking behind me to see if you're catching up to me....hehehe.. enjoy it my man maybe one day we'll meet in or around Bricktown....Happy Birthday... Tony Rome
