How in the hell is this being done? It was my understanding that the PA-50 is not designed to support a hard drive. Plus even if you install it how in the world will you access the hard drive???? Doesn't there have to be an OS update for the software side of this feature?

I'm asking this because I don't see how it would work. Here's a good example. Many users were asking about the possibility of adding a floppy disk drive to the Casio WK-3000/3200. Although there's an empty spot where the drive is located. You can't add the drive because the OS of the WK-3000/3200 doesn't support a floppy disk drive. Even if you installed the drive there would no way to access the drive because selecting "floppy" isnt' an option for storage on those models. So how would this be accomplished on the Korg PA-50??

Squeak, the original post said "specialy designed software O.S like same V 3.06 software Pa80". Seems like someone did a bit of reverse engineering, but that's just conjecture on my part.

EDIT: My supposition was confirmed before I posted.

Hi Al!
First of al sory for my bad school English.
First of al i,m Imprest!
OS of your own?
Hmm thats wonderful.
I,m a KB player since my child years.
KORG ROLAND and many brands of KB in my arena.
Ok now listel carefuly al.
THE PAX models are superb KB,s but many claims on the RAM .
32 mb is to por.
MY kid heave an MP 3 player 3 years old iriver, 128 mb.
How can a KB whit sample compatibilities heave just 32 mb.
And why always make a new KB instead for makind the one full exponeed.Extended!!!
YAMAHA T2 is out, and the new KORG is on markets 2006/03 or something like that!
I buyed thosands of money for each KB i owned. But some times i wonder where the heros like you are?
The Musician whit knowladge of Electronic and programming.
PAX programmers will not give us the capability of 128 mb!
So i hope you can look in to this issue.
The RAM , s are to old.
Its so stuped to use old and slow ram modules when we can use Silent Drives or Smedia or what ever.
So why old ones?
Is there any one who cares about to use great sample sounds on PAX?
Or are you guys just rich to buy a sampler whit PAX?
Any way i realy like this whit your knowladge of sergury!
Thank you and godluck whit all.
Best.
MR ASENA
