I'm using a Korg Trinty with Cakewalk and find it amazingly difficult using SEQ mode to come up with thick-sounding sounds. Although there are many beautiful sounds in the Combi and even Prog modes (I bought this synth because of these and NOT its sequencer!), I cannot easily replicate these in a 16 track arrangement in SEQ mode, even with copying over of insert effects (this does not really work with more than two or three sounds due to max 8 effects, and only one overall master effect). Most of the sounds I get in SEQ mode sound at best a tinny copy of the original.
Is there any way I can record the sounds in Cakewalk exactly as they are in Prog or Combi modes? I have manged to record a combi sound and have it play back, but only one is possible at a time! Is it possible to convert midi to audio in Cakewalk and have it work this way?
Thanks for any advice
Tim
