I've finally started to build a website. It's only a day old, but I'd like you to check it out and give me some feedback. I'm a little short on pictures, esp. in formal attire and the songs aren't varied enough yet (old demos), but I'm working on it.

Cass,

The layout is fine, but as you stated, the photos need to be replaced with some high-quality shots that have better backgrounds. Also, you may want to change the demo songs to FM Radio quality MP3s sp they'll download quickly. I like the bio--it's very descriptive and to the point.

Good Luck,

Gary

I would fade out the demo instead of having it end so abruptly. I thought something was wrong.

Absolutely right, Mike. I picked the wrong samples to transfer into .wma - If I decide to keep those I'll have to some cleaning up there too. Thanks.

Token would be a great name if you were a reggae band...!

The name is an artifact of a duo my partner envisioned with his old keyboard guy. Tom + Ken = Token. Not my idea, but we needed a name and it worked. I've tried to explain it away as: Token, keepsake music - how cheesy.

But we get a lot of mileage out of Token, sometimes we get asked if we're The Tokens the 'The Lion Sleeps Tonight' group. But it's been fun.

Cassp,

I don't know many Pawlowski's but the mayor of our city, Allentown, PA, is Ed Pawlowski.
Are you related?

Tim

Tim, the official answer is I have no relatives by that name except my children. My grandfather died when my dad was a toddler, so all his siblings had a different last name. I'm the only son.

BUT, anyone I meet with that name seems to trace their US roots back to PA, be it Allentown or Wilkes Barre. None of us claim to be related, but who really knows.

Diki, that sounds very interesting, I'll have to try that. In the meantime why don't you post it for us.

Hi Cass
Your site is 'a good start' but needs a little polishing.
I agree the above comments about pics and choice of recording file.
I listened to all 8 of the demos and REALLY liked 5,6,7,and 8.
In fact number 5 'Before You Accuse Me" is one of my favourites which I have dowloaded from Don Mason's site. I like both yours and Don's.
Unfortunately, there is serious faulting on 2, and 3 which are breaking up after the start.
I agree that #1 needs a fadeout.
I noted that only one of them, #4 Mustang Sally is an MP3, the others being .wma's
It's a pity that at the moment, anyone listening to the first three of the demos would be disappointed.
It was only because of what I heard in 'Domino'which made me listen to them all.
I like your styles, vocals and arrangements and want to hear more.
Good luck
Eddie

Eddie, Thanks for your coments. Before You Accuse Me is a midi I made from a Korg BSQ based on the Blues#42 style of the iX300 arranger. I loved that style so much i turned it into a full midi file and just make sure lyrics fit into the length. I t has four parts and fills, intro and ending. The piano part of the solo at the end is actually the style.

BrownEyed Girl and Mustang Sally were made using a TB505 drum machine and me playing left-hand bass - no midi files there.
