I have seen the prices of those german shops and I have to say that they are higher, compared with Italy; two online shops I can recommend in Rome are Cherubini www.cherubini.com and Musicarte www.musicarte.com Unfortunately, they don't seem to care much for foreign customers, and the proof is that their websites are in italian only, but the prices are really good. I have bought from both of them, especially Cherubini (but my Tyros 2 came from Musicarte, because at the time they had a few in stock). If you can understand italian, they are worth a look (and a few hundred euros too... ) Just compare the prices...

Josè, yes, I am waiting (maybe after I come back from my holidays in January) to go to Cherubini and try the new GEM pianos; Cherubini has a lot of things, including the Ketron Midjay , but the price is 1300 euros. I remember seeing it on Synthplanet for 1000 euros, but right now it isn't available anymore... What are you doing for Christmas? [This message has been edited by Dreamer (edited 12-13-2005).]

Thanks to all for the info, it is very helpful.
There is another thing, and English members please take note:
browsing in Ebay shops, in ebay.co.uk, I noticed that UK prices, (when translated to Euro) are usually cheaper than the German equivalent. For example, a Casio WK will go for 550 Euros in Germany which is about 330 quid, and is around 250 quid in the UK, the differnece is huge. Is there a catch?
Andrea, Cherubini really seems to have a lot of items and in good prices. I don't know Italian, but I can understand almost everything, considering that most of the roots of the words sound familiar in English, especially in technical specifications. "Tastiera dinamica a 76 tasti" and "Sequencer a 6 tracce con 5 song ed una capacità pari a 10.000 note" pose no problem at all.

Hi Andrea, Originally posted by Dreamer: Josè, yes, I am waiting (maybe after I come back from my holidays in January) to go to Cherubini and try the new GEM pianos; Cherubini has a lot of things, including the Ketron Midjay , but the price is 1300 euros. If you are interested in talking about Midjay prices, send me a private e-mail. What are you doing for Christmas?
As usual in this time of the year, I go south to meet my parents and sister, near Lisbon.. -- José.
