Thanks Renig. She is located in Spetses, it is an island very close to Athens, actually it is ~116 miles by road and about 50-60 nautical miles by boat. Takes about 2 hours using a hydrofoil and the record is 2h 4min using my car, point to point.
Everyone says Crete is a lovely place, I haven't visited yet. The base is still there I think.
