I think he means the PA2x or whatever it's going to be called. There's been some rumours (which may turn out to be true) floating about on various keyboard forums that Korg has a new arranger coming out soon. Suppose this could have appeared because the Roland E80 is just about on us. I'd imagine that Korg would want to show any new arranger off at a big music bash first before any announcement, so I think we'll be in for a bit of a wait yet. What's the next big music show?
Yeah I was joking, I knew what he meant. As for the rumours, there are none. The facts are clearly explained on Korg Forums regarding the Pa1X successor. KORG Italy clearly explained that they are working on something, but it’s a long way off, and that they where also looking at porting some of the new features of the successor back to the Pa1X Series as an OS update.
All of which may or may not happen. There where no promises made or any indications as to what the successor would be like. The only thing that was said is that it was a long way off.
KORG have no need to replace the Pa1X series right now either in my opinion. It’s been a very successful release for them that’s still doing very well.
Kind Regards. James.
