Finished my 12 week trip around the USA! I drove over 16,000 miles with my family through 27 states including a small trip to Alaska. I brought my PSR 2000 with me and it helped me relax from all of the driving! A beautiful country with much to see and too little time to see it in.
I was at one campground and my kids exclaimed that someone else had a synthesizer with them. I went over and we compared models. I told him about the wonderful group here too and to check it out. My wife was not happy about the room it took but I was not going on this trip without it.
If I had time I was planning on stopping and seeing some of you guys but as it is we had to skip some of the places we wanted to see due to time constraints. So close yet so far. I did have most locations with me on the computer so I if I could I would try to stop by. I was within a few miles of Kaye's music scene but had to rush out of CA without even stopping in S.F. to make it to Alaska. Next trip I will plan on seeing more people than scenery.
Getting internet on the road was not easy and it is nice to be back in the loop after the trip. There are a lot of beautiful places to see. Great to be back.

That sounds like a great trip Brian. Your wife must be very understanding to allow the room to take your PSR 2000 with you. And thanks for spreading the good word about the forum here while you were travelling.

Brian,

Sounds like you had a great trip, but also one that involved lots of driving. On that next trip, take more time to smell the flowers, and possibly visit with some of the folks from the Synthzone family.

Brian, that's a pity. Next time, stop in and to at least say hello. If possible, please post some pics from your trip. Welcome back. - Scott

Thank you. For my next trip I plan to take it a little slower to see more of different places.
I really did want to visit a few people and wound up driving through places (so close yet so far) so that we could make it to a certain place by a certain time. I only had 12 weeks too so it was a lot to see in a relatively short time. This would have been good for a year trip but I couldn't take off for that long.
If you listened closely I did wave and say Hi to each sythzone person that I passed if I knew where they lived. Scott, you were one of them too.
Thanks again,
- Brian
