I know you all love pics, so I'll let you peep into my keyboard corner at home.

My most recent acquisition is the little old Roland on the upper tier of the monolith. I got it new (demo unit) at a great price. Old tool but works great, together with the KME-61 for pop/rock gigs in a band. The Kurzweil covers pianos (my favorites from all brands I know), rhodes, basic organ, strings. The XP-30 covers most synth sounds, pads, lead guitars (these are great; I like some of them better than the "equivalent" in my Tyros!), wind instruments.
My PCs are in my office (not close to the keyboards so I don't get distracted), but I think that sooner of later I'll buy a dedicated PC for music, for recording purposes, music software and softsynths.

A HK LUCAS XT is on it's way from Germany to Portugal; I promise to review this sound system for you and compare it to my original LUCAS.

Hi!

Since I'm also from Portugal, it seems I'm the first to say anything about this post!

Nice corner! How do you listen to KM61 and XP 80? Through headphones?

My keyboards are a Roland XV88 and a Ketron SD1. Maybe later I'll also post a picture of my mini studio, since I also have a dedicated (and silent) computer for audio purposes and a pair of nice studio monitors.

I'm one of those waiting for your review about the LUCAS XT!

By the way, I already mailed Thomann Cyberstore 3 days ago and I'm still waiting for an answer! I don't really know if I should order from them! Have you already had any bad experience with Thomann?

Sometimes. But I mainly use my home hi-fi system: Denon Precision Amplifier PMA-925R + Bose Acoustic Mass set of speakers. I know studio monitors are recomended for music production but I'm only involved in live performance, so I'm mostly interested in learning how to use and program the keyboards.

I ordered several times from them and have only good things to say about their service. Did you place an order or just asked information? When one places an order, they always send a warning message when the package is shipped. Only then the credit card is credited. Good luck!

I only asked some information... but I'll try to wait one or two more days. I just placed an empty order with my questions on it! Maybe this way they'll answer me!

Hi Chico,

Frightening, uh, this portuguese mafia...?

Luís,

I'm not sure you made the best move to have a reply from them. Why don't you contact them directly by phone? Many of the colaborators speak fluently the english language, and they even have a service in portuguese (a brasilian guy; maybe one of Chico's cousins )

The Sales Rep:
Rob Whitehead, Phone (+49 (0)9546/9223 581) ; Fax (+49/9546-6774)

Informations in portuguese:
Ricardo Albuquerque
Fax +499546922324
E-mail Ivan@thomann.de

General Informations: info@thomann.de

Good luck.

I just forgot their existence!!
And don't say that word because it's really as ugly as the music! ("pimba")
