Editing JR's Lead:
If you change '2pole low' to 'NONE' on Layer 2/3 in the ALG mode with the alpha wheel goning clockwise, it will cause a soft reset (just as if you hit [+/-]+[ 0 ]+[CLR]).
This not only happens on my K2000s, but all of the ones that had JR's Lead in music stores. So be careful.

Which OS are you using? Though I have not heard of this "bug" there is a new K2000 OS coming out shortly, I would expect that this will be corrected.

The K2500 does not exhibit this problem.
