After I got my first arranger I organized the TC3, a trio. The name works as long as I use a trio. I now also do some single and duo jobs and don't think the name applies anymore. I thought about 'Joe Banana and the Bunch" but ruled it out. I know there are lots of creative people on this forum. How about some name suggestions?

You could just use your name. Then you would be like me, unable to go out in public without being swamped by fans, unending requests for autographs and pictures, mothers wanting you to kiss their babies, young girls throwing themselves at you, paparazzi--you get the picture. DonM better add the smiley

Thanks everyone! I think I'll pass on the 'Lone Arranger'. Don, at my age I can't catch young girls throwing themselves at me. I thought about using "The Don Mason Apprentice" as my stage name but ruled it out because of my lack of talent and limited country song list. Donny, I may end up using my own name but Dreamer made me think of 'TC-123'. That way I would be covered for singles, duos, and trios.
I'm playing a senoir citizens 'Expo' in August and want business cards to hand out for possible jobs at the senior centers.

I use my own name as well.
That said, I don't think there's anything wrong with calling yourself TC3 - even if you're playing solo. The name is catchy, and if anyone asks what the 3 stands for - you can make something up, or just plug the fact that you're available as a trio.
I don't think its a good idea to keep changing names. You get a name and you stick with it -- or you have no name recognition...
