Hi Tony. Yes, portuguese people do like to party! And this crowd wasn't very young... This kind of schedule is pretty standard around here. From 8pm to 11:30pm I played "dinner music" (soft music at a very low volume); the rest of the time, dance music, with very few and short breaks. I was pretty exhausted at the end... and my voice was in a very bad shape. But it was fun and the work was well payed. As a matter of fact, most of my musical work are big private parties (particularly weddings), so I'm used to this kind of 'hard work'!
