I want to thank the regular members of this forum for all the help and advice they give day after day.
Those other negative guys are getting just what they want, the attention that they cannot earn any other way.
I would much rather spend my time on the contrubuting members of this forum.
So to all the regulars thanks for being patient and teaching an" old dog new tricks." Speaking only for myself, of course, about the old dog thing.

I've never ever been offended by Uncle Dave's posts. I don't know much, he's always helpful. I don't know why he would be perceived as anything other than helpful. Cheers to Uncle Dave. I wish I could sing like him too.

There are many people on here who are very helpful.

Without questions from idiots like me, there is no forum. Well, a stale one, maybe but not a dynamic one.

I have been online for many years. Once you've composed thousands of posts on forums, you figure out... many people are just flat out rude. And I'm the type, you diss me, I'm gonna come and say Screw you buddy. The internet allows people to be very bold. If they were sitting on a barstool, talking to people like many people talk on forums, there would be a lot of people on their ass.

We sure have spent a lot of time on this topic. I really don't feel the initial post or UD's reply were inappropriate. It was everyone else who went crazy, no thanks to Ender4track. Dave prefaced his remarks with his usual disclaimer and that should have been sufficient. Grubba's post, albeit a terse, wasn't necessarily demeaning; in his own words he was asking what he thought was a valid question. It was fun for a while, but it's getting old. Let's finish it and get on to something new.

Without a doubt he is a brat, but we do love him. There is only one of this kind of Dave in this forum --- and that's enough, but it would not be as informative or enjoyable without him.
