Fran how was the maiden voyage with the Juno G last night at Da Club?

Well the Juno G did alright..No big boo boos..It was a learn as you go night..

Performing with the laptop and the "little G" was flawless..

While just performing with the "little G" by itself, I ran into a couple of things that I figured out workarounds this morning..You can transpose the keyboard at anytime, but you need to transpose sequences via track edit...so for live use, it is too complicated..This morning I found I can use the master shift[system] to change the entire Juno G on the fly..Not as good as having the dedicated transpose button to control the entire Juno G..

The other slight problem was finding a sequence that does not seem to be in alphabetical order..The Juno G scrolls fast enough but you have to have a sharp eye while performing...That being said, once you get use to the location..the problem should be small..
The "big G"[G70] has a search[find] feature, that would have been nice on the "little G"

In a couple weeks I will take the Juno on the road again, but I will have all my "live settings" prepared and ready to go..Live settings are registrations..

I ordered the max memory and will have that up and running this week also..This will allow me to record with 4 stereo tracks along with the 16 tracks of midi..This should be interesting..

At the very least, I have a 13 pound 11 ounce controller to use with my laptop, with all the on board goodies ..

The key touch is light..but not as light as the PSR line...I don't like it because I am spoiled by the "best" key feel of the "big G"...

I will post a full review after I use all the features in a couple weeks..

For now, I can say it was a good purchase...and I have had more fun with it so far...much more than I did with my Sonic Cell...
