yeah thats right starkeeper..sorry bout delay in replying, diff time zones here in oz and was away for a day looking at keyboards. the shop i went to had a PA1XPro and the roland x8 on a stand so i did a really in depth a/b test, and apart from the pianos, i gotta admit the korg had much better acoustic sounds, the roland shaded it again on the synths, and to be honest i did not really like the x8's keybed...a bit clunky, but maybe im a bit fussy..anyhoo i have decided to keep the PA1XPro and add a Roland X6, which i think is a decent compromise, plus the vocal harmoniser on the Yammi is nowhere near the the TC Helicon in the Korg..thanks heaps guys for your opinions.

You're going to love the PA1X and Fantom X combo, that's what I have right now. I have also added an Alesis ION and Access Virus for the VA stuff.
