My first grandson, Maddox Jack Mason, was born a few minutes ago. I'm on my way to Oklahoma to take him his first keyboard and first set of golf clubs. DonM

Don,
Congratulations! Being a grandpa is absolutely wonderful. We took our two year old grandson to the circus last Saturday. You will enjoy being a grandpa. It might even be better than music and golf.

Take that boy a geetar, too! Actually, we have ten million too many guitar players already and kids aren't learning piano, so, stick with the keyboard. Maddox Mason is a great stage name. Sounds like a boxer, too. Pick up some boxing gloves. 10 to 1 his friends will call him Madman.

Don ... Just WAIT ... you will soon find that being a grandparent is the GREATEST GIFT of ALL !!! ... I am "Poppa" to all 4 of mine ... the oldest started calling me that all on her own, and the others just picked it up ... I couldn't be called anything better ... As the saying goes ..."If I knew grandkids were going to be so great, I would have had them FIRST" !!! ... t.
Thanks for sharing the good news with us,Don. I hope you enjoy all the benefits of being a Grandparent. One of the greatest is the ability to spoil them rotten and send 'em home to Mom and Dad.

Thanks guys. I got to Tulsa about 7:00 p.m. and met the new arrival. Very handsome guy, just like me. By the way, Susan is not yet a grandmother, in fact she isn't quite old enough to be Rod's mother. We've been married 26 years, and my son Rod is 39. Susan and I have two sons, ages 16 and 21. Rod's mother is my first ex-wife. That would make a good CW song. DonM
