Hi Eric I would love to see that show.

I can't say I love the Beatles, but I do like some of their songs. I prefer something with a bit more punch to it, so I always preferred the Rolling Stones sort of stuff, however the Beatles have played a heavy influence on numerous groups and what they did for their time was amazing.

Without the Beatles, some music of today wouldn't be the same I did like John Lennon's solo stuff.

I liked the very first album, and I liked a lot of their later songs. Favorites are Help, Yesterday, Hey Jude.
The early songs were so simple, almost naive, such as I Wanta Hold Your Hand, I Saw Her Standing There, yet had a raw, driving, soulful essence that separated them from anything else before or since.
I didn't get into the semi-psychodelic, drug stuff they did later on, although I can appreciate the musical complexity and experimentation.
I remember donning a Beatle wig in the mid sixties to join the first "Beatle Band" ever at Okla. State U. I alternated between bass and drums. So long ago.

"In My Life" for me is one of the great song, so simple yet so elegant!

Didn't much follow the Beatles ,except singles, until Sergeant Pepper and then fell in love with most everything they ever did.

Hi Scott and Andrea,

thanks for the birthday wishes.

Craig; I know what you mean when you say "punch".
The new mix however has a lot more punch than the original.

Eric,

I too love the Beatles. I envy you being at that performance. Give my regards to Claudia and Sunny.

Thanks for the heads up on this. The company I work for in Moorpark CA is taking us all to Las Vegas for a weekend for a company Xmas party and taking us to this show. I'm really looking forward to it. This will be the 3rd time the company has taken us to Las Vegas and a show like this. The past shows were Blue Man Group at the Luxor and Cirque De Soliel L'Eau at the Bellagio.

And sometimes people wonder about what are some of things I like about working in the video games induestry Talking about video games the latest game I'm working on for the upcoming Sony PS3 is a hip hop gangsta game called Saints Row http://www.saintsrow.com Yeah it's sort of violent but I don't get to pick what I work on. But apart from that it is an action packed game that is already out on the Xbox 360 and being received as a successor to Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto game. Over Xbox Live you can play the game by joining a virtual gang. Hey it's my job don't blame me. Better that violence is virtual rather than real.
