Didn't do anything for me! He sounds like a million other so called singers out there. Some of them couldn't sing a straight note if their lives depended on it. Looks and sounds like he is in agony through wearing too tight underwear. Mind you I'm an old git who can remember when you had to be a real vocalist to broadcast!

On the other hand, arcadia, I remember the furor that erupted when 'crooners' started being popular (at least from reading about it, I'm not THAT old!). This wasn't 'singing' they said.... Now these very 'crooners' are held up as examples to a new generation of singers, the very thing that was done to them!

Don't we just start to sound like our parents, the older we get....! One day, THIS guy will be held as an example of fine 'singing' to contrast with whatever the NEXT generation thinks is good!

when i was a kid, my relatives would say: Sinatra doesn't really sing, he just kind of "talks melodically". to them, Crosby was a real singer, Sinatra wasn't.

Not bad, Donny, not quite my favorite singing "style" but he does have great pitch and control.
