Before everyone starts labeling these as the ugly duckling of speakers--take a closer look at WHY the design is the way it is.
The point of this design is "portability". The mixer(amp), and speakers all hook together to form (ONE) unit to make transporting them easier.
Anyone actually heard them yet? Funny because there seems to be assumptions as to how they sound. Clearly, as you all should know by now--with current technology you can't judge a speaker anymore by how it looks, or the size of the woofer... Hell Bose is a clear example of that.
